Speed Dating (JAMIE/KNOX)

Okay, one more date. One more date, and Knox was calling it a day. Not all of them were bad, but some were certainly... worse than others. He'd gotten plenty of samples, he'd just have to take the bag and sneak out the back. There was so much the creature could handle, and he'd basically reached his limit today.

Another female walking to his table. Okay, she looked... excitable. Bless the pit for him deciding this would be his last date. The cup was set up for her to drink from, nothing could go wrong at this point. "Hey there. Knox Moore." Again, held out his hand for her to shake. He cold do this. He could handle this.

This was the only way to date. Others dragged on too long, got dull and boring, repetitive. Not that she'd had much luck tonight. The guys looked like they wanted to bail the minute she'd opened her mouth. The ones that hadn't she didn't like too much, but the whole 'I see dead people' thing put them off.

Rotten luck.

Maybe this guy would actually be interesting. There was a bounce in her step and she walked up to his table, grinning with her hand already outstretched to shake his. "Knox. Can't say I know many Knoxes. I'm Jamie, Jamie Accardi!"

Young. Chipper. Probably would drive Knox insane within the five minutes they had together. But Knox wasn't going to back down now. He'd promised himself he'd live through one more date, and he would.

"Jamie, I don't hear that name very often for a woman." Rather cute, though, he supposed. "I'm a medical student here, I'm passionate about genetics though. You?" She looked like the right age for a college student, at least.

Woman. Well, she couldn't blame him for that one. She looked like a woman, had a woman's body, was happy with female pronouns. Wasn't really a topic to cover in a five-minute speed date, it would take up the whole conversation. Boring.

"Doctor, eh? Not sure I could handle that. So many hours, so much blood and gore." Her face twisted. "Stillitpaysgoodworkthatdebtoffinnotime." Remember to leave a gap between your words, dammit Jamie. "Oh. I ah, work at Gamestop on the side buuuuuuuuuut I'm working on a degree in graphic design, so I can help make the games, y'know?"

She... talked fast, to say the least. It was almost headache worthy, but Knox was going to last this date, no matter what. He sipped his own water and decided to focus on her.

"It should. Graphic design, hmm?" Creative, if not slightly lucrative. "Rather bold. And admirable. What kind of games would you see yourself making?" That could reveal a bit more about who she was.
